DanShan was founded in 1991, and the company was established in 1998. The DanShan team shares a bold dream and vision: DanShan—let people around the world start “dipping”! The company has always centered on DanShan dipping sauces, pursuing R&D with a craftsman’s spirit, keeping pace with the times, and staying committed to innovation while continuously raising its standards—producing food made with integrity that consumers can trust with confidence and peace of mind. 03 DEVELOPMENT HISTORY
1991: Pioneered the dipping-sauce seasoning category.
1998: Kunming Danshan Seasoning Food Co., Ltd. was established.
2002: Expanded the product portfolio.
2003: Achieved the first major breakthrough in annual sales scale.
2005: Obtained quality management system certification.
2011: Established Yunnan Danshan Food Co., Ltd.
2013: Relocated the operations center.
2014: Upgraded to automated production.
2018: Accelerated expansion across China and entered international markets including Southeast Asia.

Yunnan’s unique multi-layered ecological climate—deep within the mountains—offers abundant resources. Its pristine, unpolluted natural environment and high-altitude conditions (around 2,000 meters on average) nurture naturally healthy, high-quality ingredients. DanShan has long specialized in the dipping chili pepper (蘸水辣椒) category. In this sense, “DanShan” represents a distinctive “industrial mountain” of Yunnan’s dipping chili pepper industry—unique, nature-inspired, and rooted in respect for the natural environment.
